About "Don Moody O/A (Operating As) Handyman Reality" Website

As a mature adult with a life time of experience fixing and repairing just about anything I found myself wishing to work on my own so I created an Alberta registered trade name and arranged an insurance policy for myself to operate as a sole proprietor general contractor residential handyman.

In the past 5 years, at the beginning of the boom times, I signed up for an apprenticeship in Plumbing and Gas Fitting and worked in the new home sector with Habberjam Mechanical. Eventually I moved on to the municipal sector with DavMar Mechanical as a plumber installing more toilets and sinks than I really care to remember lol.

Currently, I work on my own mostly doing small handyman repairs and usually getting more of the plumbing and kitchen appliance install work than many other handymen. When it comes to the home renovations and new home basement developments I work in co-operation with Norm Moet of www.normshandyman.ca. Norm has an office and a staffer working there so he can provide a more complete renovation service than myself alone so I leave the renovation and construction quotes for Norm. I don't worry because he provides me with all of his plumbing issues and I am happy to work with him.
