Through the years I have played with hundreds of software including man web server product offerings. I have installed, played with and configured many of the surviving champions of the Open Source CMS and Forum software industry such as;

- Webmin - An excellent control panel for linux based computing administration. I run it on my own computer.
- Usermin - From the makers of Webmin, a web based user administration panel.

- WHM - Web Host Manager
Virtual Computing Software (Cloud Computing)
- Virtual Box - My Choice that is based on the "Open Virtual Format" and is used for running virtual operating systems inside of my current Ubuntu Linux computer. Excellent for testing new software and operating systems in a safe environment within your computer.
- Virtualmin and Cloudmin - from the makers of the Webmin Control Panel.
Virtual Computing (Hosted Clouds)
- Aquia - From the founder and community of Drupal.org
- EC2 - Amazon.com's Elastic Computing Service (Ah I haven't played with it much other than to look at the rates. Very helpful for expanding computing power for development and overflow when your system or site is becoming overwhelmed by new traffic spikes)
- Storm Cloud Hosting - An alternative cloud host with a very similiar offering to the Amazon EC2 cloud computing system. Excellent webhost I utilized them for many years while learning the website thing.

Rates?
Much of my time has been spent keeping up on the latest trends on the net and self educating, so much so, that a business plan has never been developed for my Internet consulting efforts. One could look at this as an opportunity, or, not.
The time investment in developing internet knowledge and experience has been considerable. I am aware that often the competition can be from many other countries with very different economic systems and rates of pay. Because of these global rate competitors, that reside in completely different economic conditions and costs, I prefer that my rates are to be negotiated on case by case basis.
