Repair intake pauses sometimes, when there’s more work than we can take on right away. A Property Assessment is never part of that — documentation visits stay open regardless, whether or not repairs are.

An assessment is never required to book a repair. It’s a separate thing you can add, any time — whether or not we’re already coming.
What you get
We go through your home and document what’s there: nameplate photos, brand, model, approximate age, and a plain-word read on condition — Good, Serviceable, Needs attention, or Replace soon. Anything urgent gets flagged, and we’ll be in touch about it directly.
The record also holds service history — not only our own work, but anything you tell us about work done by anyone else. It grows every time we’re back for a job, and you can add to it yourself between visits.
It’s delivered into your own copy of the Handyman Reality app, on your own device.

What we keep, and why
We keep a copy of what we document, the same way any business keeps a record of the work it does. It’s what lets a future visit start from what’s already known.
What you hold
A complete copy lives on your own device — yours permanently, readable offline, and exportable as a PDF whenever you want one. It’s yours whether or not you’re ever our client again.
The delete button
Ask, any time, and we remove our copy — everything except the records tax law requires us to keep. Your own copy, on your own device, is untouched either way.
Two badges, and why they matter
Every entry carries a badge — “Documented by Handyman Reality” or “Reported by owner.” One means a tradesperson stood in front of it and put their name to the fact; the other means you told us. Knowing which is which is the whole point.
